Birmingham City are a club who currently find themselves in a very difficult position.

Since the shock sacking of Gary Rowett, the new man at the helm, Gianfranco Zola, has managed just two victories from 18 games, leading to calls from a number of the club's supporters for another managerial change.

Birmingham have slipped way down the table to 17th place and only sit six points above Blackburn Rovers who occupy the final spot in the relegation zone.

A big decision needs to be made by the board as to whether the former Chelsea star is the right man to lead the club forward.

Big decisions are to be made in the boardroom, and in the dressing room.

This article is going to take a look at TWO Birmingham City players who find their careers at a real crossroads...

Greg Stewart

The Blues beat off competition from a number of fellow 2nd tier clubs in the summer to secure the signing of Dundee man Greg Stewart in the summer however, Stewart has struggled since his arrival in England and finds himself with a big decision to make this summer.

Stewart has made 21 first team appearances for the club so far this season but has failed to register a single goal.

The 26-year-old may be keen on a fresh start at a new club in the summer but, he did sign a three year contract with Birmingham so finds his future very much in the hands of the club.

During his time in Scotland, Stewart netted a very respectable 32 goals in 84 appearances for Dundee throughout a three year spell with the club.

Jacques Maghoma

Wideman Maghoma is someone who is likely to be fearing for his Birmingham future after the arrival of Gianfranco Zola.

Maghoma has been mostly limited to substitute appearances this season and may be keen to escape the club this summer, in the hope of securing more regular first team football elsewhere.

At the age of 29, Maghoma is no longer a youngman and will be desperate to play week in, week out as much as possible.

The former Tottenham Hotspur trainee is a full international DR Congo, for whom he has been capped 11 times.

The former Burton Albion and Sheffield Wednesday man is a very tricky customer, he has lightning fast pace as well as the ability to do something out of the ordinary to get past his man.
