‘Time to go’ – Plenty of Stoke City fans call for action to be taken on key figure after Carabao Cup exit

Stoke City crashed out of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday evening, as they were beaten on penalties by Crawley Town.
Nathan Jones’ side took the lead on the night with Sam Vokes opening the scoring after 23 minutes, but that lead didn’t last very long.
Nathan Ferguson equalised for the hosts shortly before half-time, as both sides went into the break level.
Stoke’s Nathan Collins was then sent-off for violent conduct with half an hour still to play, as the game went to penalties to decide who would book their spot in the Fourth Round of the competition.
Vokes missed his spot-kick, and Crawley didn’t miss once as they progressed to the next round of the Carabao Cup.
This defeat only adds to the pressure on Nathan Jones, with his side currently occupying one of the relegation places in the Championship this season.
It’s safe to say that plenty of Stoke City fans didn’t hold back in their thoughts on Jones after the defeat.

Feel sorry for him, clear the players aren’t playing for him and it all falls back on him

He does say the right things but equally doesn't help himself. Continues to play a system that blatently isn't working.
