It is an exciting time for Leeds United who are hoping to push for promotion this season after a near miss at the play-offs last year.

The club faced the heartbreak of narrowly missing out on the top six last year, made even worse by the fact that they lost manager Garry Monk, who led the club to such a strong season.

They have appointed manager Thomas Christiansen as his replacement, meaning along with new owner Andrea Radrizzani and the acquisition of Elland Road, all looks set for a strong season once more.

They face a busy summer in order to build on their seventh placed finish, with the club mainly pursuing the foreign market in order to bring in new players at lower prices.

Winger Hadi Sacko and midfielder Maeusz Klich, but here are TWO more players that could end up as Leeds players in the next week.....

Samu Saiz

The 26-year-old is known as 'Samuel' in his home country of Spain and is an attacking midfielder currently plying his trade at Huesca.

He's a former Atletico Madrid player who moved the Spanish second tier side Huesca initially on loan in 2015.

Since then he's netted 13 times in 48 appearances.

He looks set for a £3 million move to Leeds and could seal a move in the next couple of days, having reportedly agreed a £16,900-per-week deal at Elland Road.

Mario Pasalic

After spending a season on loan at Italian giants AC Milan from Chelsea, Mario Pasalic could be set for a shock move to Leeds this summer as he prepares to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

The Croatia international has been compared to Frank Lampard and scored five goals whilst in Serie A this season, having previously spent time on loan at Monaco and Elche.

The 22-year-old would be an impressive signing for the Yorkshire based side and would be an improvement on what they already have in the middle of the park.
