“Time to get promoted to the Championship” – Coventry fans get excited over new signing

Coventry City have signed Reise Allassani from Dulwich Hamlet for an undisclosed fee, the club’s official website confirmed last night.

Allassani pens a two-year deal with the Sky Blues after an impressive season for Dulwich with his tally of 19 goals helped them to promotion to the National League South.

Now the 22-year-old has made his big move to the Football League, after Dulwich resisted bids for him last January.

The former Crystal Palace youngster was tipped to be the next big thing at the club but a serious knee injury has held back his progress and he has had to work hard in the non-league system to fight his way back to professional football.

Predominantly an attacking midfielder, the former England youth international can also play on the wing or up front as a central striker.

Coventry fans were getting excited about this signing and here is how they reacted to Allassani’s arrival.
