New Nottingham Forest manager Mark Warburton has the task of keeping his new side in the Championship with just eight games remaining and the Reds are currently sat one point outside of the bottom three.

The Reds have had a season to forget with three different managers, a collapsed takeover, shocking away form and a relegation battle so Forest supporters will be hoping that they can end the season strongly at least.

Warburton will be desperate to keep his new side in the Championship and will be keen to build his side in the summer by adding some new faces, implementing his game plan and working on what has gone wrong this season.

The Reds do have the quality to stay in the division and it will be down to Warburton to find the right formula and balance to keep them in the division.

However, there are still a number of things that Warburton needs to address and FLW writer Harry Webster takes a look at two rumbling issues that Warburton must fix at Nottingham Forest...

Shaky defence

Across the back four the Reds have look extremely shaky this season and this is something Warburton needs to address and quick.

Under Philippe Montanier, Forest couldn't keep the ball out of their net and despite becoming slightly better at the back under Gary Brazil, they still lack some real solidarity.

Warburton needs to get the likes of Jack Hobbs and Matt Mills back to full fitness and quick, but he could also be tempted to bring in some new faces to improve the defence in the summer.

Away form

The Reds have only won two away games all season and this is one of the key reasons as to why they are so low in the table.

If the East Midlands club had picked up some more wins on the road they wouldn't find themselves in the position they are in and Warburton must address this big problem.

Away form is key to a successful season in the Championship and Warburton will be keen to improve this next season.

Nottingham Forest fans... Can Warburton sort these two issues? Why have the Reds been so poor at the back this season? Why have they only won two games away from home this season? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
