It was a truly sensational evening at Villa Park, as Dean Smith's Aston Villa were held to a staggering 5-5 draw against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.

Four goals from Tammy Abraham and a strike from substitute Anwar El Ghazi, staggeringly, still wasn't enough to secure Villa's fourth league win in a row.

The latter was very impressive after being brought on just after the hour mark, and will now look to earn a regular starting berth after netting his second goal of the campaign on Wednesday night.

Here, we discuss whether El Ghazi deserves a run of games after his midweek goal...

George Harbey

Despite his goal, I don't think El Ghazi has done enough to earn a starting berth.

He looked very bright when coming off the bench, but does a 25 minute cameo prove that the Dutchman needs to start ahead of Kodjia and Bolasie, who have been magnificent all season?

If he keeps working hard, then who knows?

Jacob Potter

It’s time for him to be given a chance.

Yannick Bolasie has impressed since he was given a run in the side and El-Ghazi could follow in his footsteps.

His creativity and eye for goal could be crucial for Villa in their promotion push this season.

Gary Hutchinson

I think so.

I've been unimpressed with Bolasie and Kodjia recently and if Villa are functioning with a couple out of sorts, what might they do at full tilt?

El Ghazi has immense pedigree and deserves a stab at a start.
