Sheffield Wednesday manager Steve Bruce remains unbeaten since arriving at Hillsborough and though a number of results have been draws, the Owls are still only six points off the play-off places with 11 games of the season remaining.

Bruce has made use of the loan market with Rolando Aarons proving to be a useful addition, since his deadline day arrival on loan at Hillsborough from Newcastle United.

But has Aarons done enough in his six appearances to start commanding a starting XI berth at Wednesday?

We discuss.....

Jacob Potter

"I think he’s done enough to start.

"Aarons looked lively against Sheffield United on Monday and offered pace going forward which Steve Bruce’s side have lacked in recent weeks.

"It should be a no-brainer for Bruce."

Jay Taylor

“After a string of solid performances, I see no other alternative.

“He has impressed since moving on loan from Newcastle and gives the Owls something different out on the left.

“As long as he continues his fine form, he should be in the team.”

Gary Hutchinson

“Yes.

“He’s a real talent and Sheff Wednesday need that injection of fresh energy.

“He’s waited, put in the work on the training ground and impressed in his cameo.

“Time for a start.”

Alfie Burns

“He’s part of a side playing well, so you’d have to say so.

“Having said that, Bruce will want more from his wide players, though.

“Aarons produced a really good ball in the Steel City derby, but he needs to be doing that more.

“Bruce’s previous successes are built on that type of player doing well.”
