Queens Park Rangers' recent unbeaten run came to an end at the weekend with a 1-0 defeat at home to Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

The R's will feel hard done to in some aspects; they arguably should have been awarded a penalty in the dying embers of the game, but after three wins from their last four league games, their run came to an end.

Steve McClaren will be looking to reignite another unbeaten run now, with his QPR side now sitting in 16th place after three wins, one draw and five defeats from their opening nine league games.

With a Tuesday night trip to Blackpool in the Carabao Cup, perhaps this gives McClaren the opportunity to reshuffle his squad in preparation for his side's trip to South Wales to face Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.

Here, we take a look at two QPR players who should be dropped after their defeat to Norwich City at the weekend.

Following his arrival on loan from Burnley, the 28-year old has failed to find the back of net in QPR colours in his five appearances for the West London club.

In order to recapture his goalscoring form from his days at Bradford and Huddersfield, perhaps Wells should endure a spell on the bench, allowing the talismanic Ebere Eze to return to his natural position behind the striker Tomer Hemed, instead of playing out wide.

In order to give the youngster some game time, perhaps Baptiste should make way for Osman Kakay, who deserves a run out on Tuesday night to see how he fares against weaker opposition in Blackpool.

Kakay has looked slightly out of place when playing for the R's this season, more notably against Bristol Rovers in the Carabao Cup, however game time is what he needs to improve and progress.
