Time for a reshuffle: 2 Millwall players who should be dropped after weekend defeat

Published

Millwall succumbed to yet another defeat at the weekend at the hands of West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.

Neil Harris’ men, after a bright first-half, fell behind to goals from Dwight Gayle and Kieran Gibbs, and eventually fell to their fifth defeat in their last six league outings.

The London side now sit 22nd in the Championship standings, after five defeats, three draws and just one win, however Harris spoke of his pride for his side after the weekend’s performance.

“First half I thought we were excellent in particular, until the first goal it was a game where I thought we were the better team”, he said.

“It’s just the way it’s going for us at the moment, we don’t score at one end and at the other end, Ben (Amos) makes a brilliant save, the ball comes off the bar and lands straight at Dwight Gayle’s feet”.

The Lions now face a midweek clash at home to Fulham in the Carabao Cup, before hosting Sheffield United at the Den on Saturday afternoon, and here we take a look at two Millwall players who should be dropped after the defeat to West Brom.
