Wolves' Championship season has been going from strength to strength in recent weeks, and many supporters have begun considering how things might have been if the season had began this way.

After a fantastic win over Leeds United earlier this week, Wolves have gone up to 16th in the table, which isn't fantastic by all accounts, but after the troubles they had early on, it's a testament to how well they've done over the past few weeks.

Paul Lambert looks to have a full summer in charge to make the changes he really needs in preparation for next season, where he'll be looking to mount a play-off push.

But as for this season, there have been some players that really haven't delivered the goods at all, and who's time in the Midlands is at an end.

So with that in mind, here's TWO Wolves outcasts that need to be axed this summer...

Jón Daði Böðvarsson

Jon Dadi Bodvarsson's career at Wolves start off extremely well indeed after he scored on his debut but the goals have since dried up and he's scored just three times in 49 appearances, which for a striker, just isn't good enough in the slightest.

He was signed to hit goals but he just hasn't scored enough and is surely at risk this summer.

George Saville

Midfielder George Saville has seriously underwhelmed at times this season and the jury is still out on whether he has a long term future at the club.

His work rate isn't at question in the slightest but when it comes to quality on the ball, it just hasn't been there from the former Chelsea man.

A new start might be best for both club and player this summer.
