‘Time for a change’, ‘Speechless’ – Plenty of Sunderland fans fume at key figure after latest defeat

Sunderland suffered their third straight loss on Saturday afternoon, as they were beaten 2-1 by MK Dons at the Stadium of Light.

The Black Cats took the lead after just 12 minutes through midfielder Max Power, but their lead didn’t last long.

Experienced forward Cameron Jerome equalised for the visitors, as both sides went into half-time with the scores level.

Sunderland didn’t start the second-half well at all, with Scott Fraser firing home from the penalty spot to give MK Dons the lead on the day.

Phil Parkinson’s side couldn’t find a much-needed equaliser as the game progressed, with Will Grigg missing their best chance as he failed to connect with a cross from a yard out.

The defeat means that Sunderland are currently sat sixth in the League One table, and missed out on an opportunity to close the gap on league-leaders Peterborough United.

Plenty of Sunderland supporters were quick to take to social media to voice their frustrations at Parkinson after this defeat.
