Nottingham Forest suffered their fifth defeat in six games last night as Norwich City beat them 2-1 at Carrow Road and many Reds supporters have vented their frustration at the performance of goalkeeper Brice Samba.

The Frenchman made some solid saves early on but should have done more to keep out Jacob Lungi Sorensen's opener in the second minute of first-half injury time, with the low strike going straight through the Forest shot-stopper.

Samba could do little about Emi Buendia's 77th-minute winner, which came not long after Anthony Knockaert had pulled the Reds back level, as the visitors' poor run continued.

Chris Hughton's men have now taken just one point from their last six games and are just one place and one point above the relegation zone.

They've conceded nine goals in that period and it appears parts of the City Ground faithful are beginning to grow concerned about whether Samba is deserving of his place in the side.

The 26-year-old cemented his place as the Reds' first-choice keeper early last season but mistakes have begun to sneak into his game, with his fragile attempt to keep out Norwich's opener undoing all Forest's defensive work in the first half.
