‘Clueless’ – Many QPR fans turn on key figure after Barnsley defeat

QPR were thumped 3-0 by Barnsley at Oakwell last night and many fans of the west London club appear to have run out of patience with manager Mark Warburton.
R’s defender Rob Dickie was sent off inside half an hour for hauling down Cauley Woodrow in the penalty area, with the forward converting the spot-kick.
Things went from bad to worse eight minutes before the break when Connor Chaplin’s low effort snuck past Seny Dieng at the near post and then Yoann Barbet’s 64th-minute own goal capped off a dismal display for the visitors.
Tuesday night’s game proved the perfect start for Barnsley boss Valerien Ismael, who was taking charge of the Tykes for the first time, but things are looking rather different for Warburton.
Rangers haven’t won since their opening weekend victory against Nottingham Forest, a run which stretched to seven games following yesterday’s result.
Their lack of goals in recent weeks is also a major concern, with Warburton’s men failing to score once in the four games since the international break.

Pressure seems to be building on the R’s boss, with many fans taking to Twitter to voice their frustration following last night’s game.

Warburton out, relies on scoring goals cause we can’t defend, but now we can’t do either, useless.

Warburton needs to be sacked

Mark Warburton has won just 30.5% of his 59 games for #QPR – the lowest win percentage by a permanent manager since Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (27.7%).
97 goals conceded under Warburton.

Can’t listen to this clown! Acts like we’re the only team that has changed squad members! And what did we actually create in the opening 25 mins for all the “dominance “? Just more corporate nonsense from Warburton #QPR https://t.co/aN8ANLvoSi

I know the melts won’t like it, but I’d try and get @Joey7Barton in to replace the clueless Warburton. Enough is definitely enough now!

@Amit_Bhatia99 sack Warburton and Announce Pearson or Howe! #QPR https://t.co/Q7qr9WeWli

A comedy act and always Warburton’s managerial weakness that his teams just can’t defend, and this team can’t score goals either, a shambles!

I’ve just got back from 5 a side… what is going on at QPR? Honestly… Warburton’s gone off time to throw him out. Since the restart it’s been shocking. What is it 6-7 wins in 28-29 games apparently. Woeful.
