Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford ended a run of four games without a goal with a brace as Leeds United came from behind to defeat Millwall 3-2 at Elland Road on Tuesday night.

The goals took the 26-year-old's tally to 12 for the season as new signing Jean-Kevin Augustin watched on from the stands.

Bamford has had a very hit and miss season so far this term and came under criticism from some fans after United's 1-0 defeat to QPR, 10 days prior to Tuesday's win.

The 26-year-old hadn't scored since the recall of Eddie Nketiah on New Year's Day, prompting some fans to become desperate that the club signed a new striker.

With new competition watching on, Bamford showed boss Marcelo Bielsa why he should retain the starting place with an 18 minute brace.
