Queens Park Rangers are the home side today as they entertain Dean Smiths Brentford side, who make the short journey from Griffin Park to Loftus Road.

The Bees enter the game without a win in 5, and will be desperate to alter that run of form which has seen them slide down the table after some promising form before the start of the year.

Rangers on the other hand have found consistency hard to come by, but have however ran out comfortable 2-0 victors in their last 2 home games against play-off chasing Birmingham and Derby.

The tie sees a clash between two managers who were managing teams in the league below at some point this season, and both will be keen to get one over the other at Loftus Road today.

Here at FootballLeagueWorld, we take a look at THREE things to look out for in the game:

1) Hoops happy at home?

QPR have only lost 1 of their last 5 home games, running out winners in 3 of those games, all against teams chasing a top 6 spot, and all without conceding a goal.

They surrendered to a brilliant Fulham display a few weeks back, but apart from that blip, they are looking strong at Loftus Road once more.

Hasselbaink will be keen to ensure this continues and that they finish the season in strong form at home, something he can then take into next season as they look to mount a promotion charge.

2) Brentford need a win

It is now 5 league games without a win for Brentford, and it is a slump which has seen them tumble down the table.

They sit in 17th, and despite looking well clear of safety, if they come away with no points today and Rotherham can win again against Derby, suddenly Dean Smiths side will only be 5 points clear of the drop zone.

There is always a team which takes a tumble towards the end of the season, and Smith will be keen for his side to not become that team. Starting with a win today at Loftus Road.

3) Alan Judge to spark into life?

If Brentford are to get a win, then they need their main man firing on all cylinders.

Judge has had a tremendous season so far, contributing goals and assists galore, and will be looking at himself to try and inspire Brentford out of this end of season slump in form.

The midfield play maker is definitely one of the best players in the league on his day, and manager Dean Smith will need everything he can get from his star man if they are to come away from today with a positive result.
