Queens Park Rangers' talisman Luke Freeman could be the subject of a Loftus Road exit come January, after the midfielder missed out on a move over the summer.

Freeman once received extremely high praise from Arsene Wenger, after joining the Arsenal youth set-up back in 2009.

Almost ten years later though, and Freeman's journey back to top is nearing it's finale.

Spending time with Yeovil, Stevenage and Bristol City in the Football League, Freeman was signed for QPR by Ian Holloway in January 2017 for an undisclosed fee.

He soon became a fan favourite and in his first full season at Loftus Road he found the back of the net five times, whilst also creating 12 further goals.

As we near the January transfer window though, interest in Freeman may be about to reignite.

Here we take a look at THREE possible replacements should he leave QPR in January...

Reading's 'Iceman' has been the club's most prolific player this season with seven goals.

He was previously linked with a move to Loftus Road before opting to join Reading, but given their form this season, he may be tempted to head for the exit in January.

The Scottish International has only made four starts for West Ham under Manuel Pelligrini this season.

Given his pedigree at Championship level with Leeds, Aston Villa and Hull City, he could be a like-for-like replacement for Freeman should he depart from QPR.

Just four years ago Forshaw was awarded the League One Player of the Year award whilst playing with Brentford.

Since then he's enjoyed a successful spell with Middlesborough and earned a transfer to Leeds United.

Under Bielsa though, Forshaw has only featured from the bench.

He's different to Freeman, but could be a good midfield alternative.
