Barnsley advanced to the second round of the FA Cup with a comprehensive victory against Harry Kewell's Notts County yesterday.

The Tykes were completely dominant in a comfortable 4-0 win, although all the goals came in a tough second 45 minutes for the visitors. Cauley Woodrow, returning from injury, started the rout before Ezekiel Fryer, Brad Potts and finally Kieffer Moore completed a good afternoon for Daniel Stendel.

There was a gulf in class, with a top side from League One clearly rampant against a struggling side from the division below, but that isn't always going to be the case. League Two is packed with quality players, some of whom would be able to do a job for Barnsley as they hunt a Championship return.

We've found three League Two players that should definitely be on their hit list this January.

Stockley is very much in the Kieffer Moore mould and if Barnsley are going to have scouts hunting their players, there are like for like replacements available in the basement division.

Exeter have fallen away from the top three recently and the former Aberdeen man might be looking at his next move already.

If there are scouts wanting to take a punt on George Moncur, then the Swindon midfielder Doughty must be one who could replace him.

The former QPR man didn't feature for them as they beat National League North side York yesterday, but he's been key in their league campaign so far.

Moore-Taylor is a former Exeter centre back who is currently with MK Dons, but he's destined for much bigger things.

He's composed, mobile and organises his fellow defenders with precision.

If Ethan Pinnock or Liam Lindsay attract unwanted attention from elsewhere, he's a player with quality to replace them.
