Players such as Jordan Archer, Lee Gregory and Fred Onyedinma who have excelled in League One will be ecstatic at the chance to prove themselves in the league above and prove they have what it takes to step up in class.

However, as always, new bloody will be needed to inject a freshness into the squad and keep good healthy competition for places.

This article is going to take a look at THREE quality free agents Neil Harris could look to bring to the club this summer..

Chris O'Grady

Following his release from promoted Brighton & Hove Albion, frontman Chris O'Grady now finds himself on the hunt for yet another new club. O'Grady is well travelled after playing for the likes of Leicester City, Rotherham United, Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley

The 31-year-old would bring a wealth of experience with him and could be a very useful addition to Neil Harris' squad, as they look to consolidate themselves as a Championship side after their fantastic play-off final win against Bradford City.

The powerful target man spent last season on loan with Burton Albion, making 21 appearances but scoring just two goals.

However, O'Grady brings a lot more to the team due to his aerial presence, strength, power and work rate.

His most successful goalscoring campaign at Championship level came when playing for South Yorkshire side Barnsley back in 2013-2014 campaign, as he netted a very respectable 15 goals in 40 appearances.

Jason Lowe

Former England under 21 international Jason Lowe is one of the more talented players currently available on a free transfer, and could prove to be a very astute piece of business by whoever capture his signature.

Barring a brief loan spell with Oldham Athletic, Lowe has spent his entire career at former Premier League champions Blackburn Rovers, however he must now move onto pastures new after being released by the club at the end of the season.

Lowe made close to 200 appearances for Rovers throughout his 7 year stay, however he scored just once throughout that time.

Lowe is a very versatile operator, comfortable in a variety of positions including Right Back where he was deployed many times throughout his time at Ewood Park.

He is a touch tackling midfielder who's work often goes unnoticed by many fans, he has been a consistent performer for numerous years now and would be a very solid addition to most Championship sides.

Mark Little

Many eyebrows were raised when the Bristol City retained list stated that Mark Little was to leave the club and there is no doubting that interest will be high in the full-back.

Championship newcomers Millwall will no doubt be one of those clubs sniffing around the full-back as they look to prepare a squad capable of surviving in England's second tier next season.

The 28-year-old is a seasoned campaigner at Championship level and would add some much needed strength in depth to Millwall's backline.

Little came through the youth ranks at Wolverhampton Wanderers and was very highly rated in his younger days, he actually earned six caps for the England under-19 side.

Prior to his release from Ashton Gate, Little had made just shy of 90 appearances for the club, netting just once in the process.

The Englishman is a tall, strong, pacey fullback who has every attribute to be a huge success for Millwall at Championship level.
