Portsmouth are back in League One action as Kenny Jackett's side take on Milton Keynes Dons at Fratton Park this evening.

Pompey will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Fleetwood Town last weekend, which cost the side their place in the top-six.

The incentive to get back into the play-off places is there, but Portsmouth will have to overcome an MK Dons side who are unbeaten in their last five league games.

The last meeting between the two sides was back in December, with the Buckinghamshire outfit coming out on top 3-1 at Stadium MK, with over 4,000 travelling Portsmouth fans making the trip from the south Coast.

Portsmouth have only faced MK Dons on five occasions, winning four times.

Ahead of the big game, we predict the likely starting XI that Jackett will field for Pompey this evening at Fratton Park...

The Pompey boss could make three changes for this clash against Russell Martin's side, but will almost certainly stick with his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation.

QUIZ: Can you name these 11 Portsmouth flops?

Alex Bass is likely to keep his place in goal for Portsmouth, despite conceding a less than impressive strike against Fleetwood last time out.

Craig MacGillivray has not featured in the league for Portsmouth since the reverse fixture between the two sides in December.

The back four could see one change. Steve Seddon continues at left-back, with Sean Raggett and Christian Burgess partnering up once again in central defence. However, Ross McCrorie is likely to replace James Bolton at right-back once again.

Tom Naylor and Ben Close should both be the pivots in front of the defence, with Cameron McGeehan playing further forward once again.

Although Andy Cannon should make the matchday squad, the likelihood is that the 23-year-old will not be in a position to start the game for Pompey.

Ronan Curtis should continue on the left-hand side, with Ryan Williams coming in for Marcus Harness on the other wing.

Considering Pompey have three games in the space of the next six days, it would make sense for Jackett to rotate in that position.

John Marquis should start upfront for Portsmouth, which will mean Oli Hawkins drops to the bench.
