Charlton Athletic owner Thomas Sandgaard has taken to Twitter to react to his side's 2-2 draw away at Morecambe in Sky Bet League One last night.

The Addicks came away from the Mazuma Stadium yesterday evening with a share of the spoils, with goals from Diallang Jaiyesimi and Conor Washington being cancelled out by strikes from Cole Stockton and Anthony O'Connor.

That result extended Johnnie Jackson's unbeaten run in the league to six, thus seeing more and more calls from the club's supporters for their former player to be handed the manager's job on a full time basis after taking interim charge following the departure of Nigel Adkins.

Following the result in Lancashire, Sandgaard was quick to air his views on what he saw from the team on a cold Tuesday night as he took to social media:

The result will only increase speculation over who will be the next manager to take the Addicks forward, with the Dane having previously spoken about the need for patience.

Despite seemingly keeping the recruitment process open to other candidates, Sandgaard has repeatedly praised Jackson for the start he has made to his tenure in charge.

However it still remains to be seen as to whether he would be willing to hand the 39-year-old the job on a full time basis, with some supporters calling for a more experienced option in some quarters.

Whoever takes charge at the Valley will be expected to help the club continue with their charge up the league standings after a disastrous start to the campaign that saw them occupying the relegation zone upon the appointment of Jackson.

With January to come and the potential to start a new era at the London club, it is sure to be a very appealing post to many coaches, with Sandgaard having admitted in the past that he has received plenty of interest so far.

Who he plucks for in the future is anyone's guess.
