Thomas Frank has praised his Brentford side after they emphatically beat Swansea at the Liberty Stadium by three goals to nil.

It was a performance well worthy of three points, and he'll be hoping that his team can go on and continue this impressive week they're having.

The Bees came back from two goals down to win 3-2 last Saturday against Millwall, and after last night's result, they're only getting better as they look to mount a charge on the play-off places.

Frank praised his side not just in terms of their goals, but also for the way they controlled the game.

Speaking to the Surrey Comet, Frank said: "New players coming in and finding their way, we knew it would take time to settle in.

"Benrahma was injured at the start of the season, and he is one of the best offensive players in this league.

"When we won the ball we were a big counter-attacking threat and created big chances.

"We went for the third goal and after that we more or less controlled the game and didn't give too many chances away.

"They didn't believe any more that they could get something from the game."

The Verdict

What a performance that was from Brentford last night, they were excellent and were full value for the three points and the three goals that they scored. They have to carry this on and try and push even further up the table and take advantage of the squad's high confidence.

A massive game against QPR follows, in what is a rivalry between the two sides as well as a big game in terms of where either side is in the table. The Bees have to use their superb ability to play passing football to get through the R's backline.

Frank will want more from his side and want to see a continuous improvement, but he can't be disappointed by the way they won and controlled the game on Wednesday night.
