Leeds United will look to launch another bid for Premier League football next season having narrowly missed out on the play-offs last year, after a stuttering end to the campaign.

Garry Monk was relieved of his duties for failing to secure a top six finish, and new boss Thomas Christiansen will begin his new role with the hopes and dreams of a city upon his shoulders.

The two-time Spanish international has already began to bolster the United squad, with foreign talent Mateusz Klich and Feliz Wiedwald signing from FC Twente and Werder Bremen respectively.

Monk has left a very decent squad at his disposal for Christiansen to work with, however there is still work to be done if the Whites are to ignite yet another promotion push next term.

One player who Christiansen must look to bring to Elland Road is Toulouse striker Martin Braithwaite, who is valued at a price of £6.38m on Transfermarkt.com.

The 26-year-old scored 12 goals for the Ligue 1 outfit last term, and produced that impressive return while playing on the left flank, attracting the likes of West Ham, Marseille and Cologne.

The exciting attacker has netted a total of 35 goals in over 130 appearances for the French club, and his lightning pace and ability to get in behind defences would compliment talisman Chris Wood well.

With Hammers boss Slaven Bilic reportedly preparing a £7.5million bid for the Danish international, the Yorkshire club should definitely look to hijack the Hammers in the quest to sign Braithwaite, as he would play an influential part in guiding Leeds to the Premier League.
