Leeds United will be determined to get themselves going at the weekend with them struggling for form at the moment and losing pace on the play-off places.

The men from Elland Road have had a season of two halves so far this year with them firing on all cylinders at the start of the campaign and now it looks as though the wheels have fallen off.

Thomas Christiansen is under pressure, then, and the next two games in his Leeds career could just see where his future lies become a whole lot clearer.

The manager has yet to find a way to fix their poor form and now faces his predecessor as Garry Monk and Middlesbrough meet the Whites this weekend.

Boro are looking pretty solid this season now, too, with them challenging for the play-offs and so that could end up as a loss for the Whites who certainly don’t have the momentum the Teessiders do.

Things don’t get easier after that, either, with them playing the league leaders and the Championship’s most impressive side Wolves after that and so, without wanting to sound too pessimistic, two losses are certainly a possibility.

If that happens, then, we really could be seeing Christiansen getting sacked by the club whilst, if he gets some results in these big games, he might just have bought himself some time.

Things are going to be very tense for TC in the coming days.
