Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder is not sunning himself on the beach just yet, with recruitment for the challenge of Premier League football next season a priority and Swansea striker Oli McBurnie is the subject of his attention, according to the print edition of the Sun (May 19, Page 63).

Wilder has the funds to make a £12million bid for the Swans hotshot, who scored 22 goals and made 4 assists in 42 appearances in the league this season.

So would McBurnie be a good signing for the Blades?

We discuss........

Toby Wilding

"This'd be an interesting signing.

"McBurnie's goal threat appears to have grown as the season has gone on, and Sheffield United will certainly need at least one more of those, having directed a number of their forwards towards the exit door.

"This could therefore be an important signing if they are to have a hope of staying in the Premier League."

Gary Hutchinson

“I’m not convinced he’s the sort of player they need, no.

“He’s got talent, but is he ‘established Premier League’ quality?

“Or, is he ‘top of the Championship’ standard instead?

“I think they need better.”

Jacob Potter

"The perfect signing for the Blades.

"McBurnie is a proven goalscorer and I’d be stunned if he remained with Swansea heading into next season.

"He has age on his side and would provide ideal competition to the likes of Billy Sharp and David McGoldrick."
