Despite losing their manager Nathan Jones to Stoke City, Luton Town are not resting on their laurels with the small matter of promotion to the Championship top of the agenda for caretaker boss Mick Harford.

Even though the transfer window is now closed, the club are looking ahead to the summer with Preston striker Louis Moult a potential target according to Sun journalist Alan Nixon on Twitter.

So would Moult be a good addition to the Luton squad?

We discuss.....

George Harbey

"This would be a good signing for Luton.

"Moult may not have scored as many goals as he would have liked this year, but he’s a Championship quality forward for sure.

"He’d be the perfect replacement for loanee Jason Cummings come the end of the season."

Alfie Burns

“I think this could be good business.

“Moult hasn’t really done it at Preston and a fresh start might be one of the things he looks for in the summer.

“Luton could be good for him, promotion or not.”

Jay Taylor

“This'd be an interesting signing, and assuming they make it to the Championship; it would be a signing to aid them settling into the second tier.

“Improvement in the team is vital for next season and considering the 26-year-old has not played as much as he could have for Preston, a move would make sense.

“And Luton are a side on the up, so if he was to go anywhere, this would be a fantastic addition to the Hatters.”
