Queens Park Rangers are among a cluster of clubs keeping close tabs on Peterborough attacker Siriki Dembele, as per TEAMTalk.

The 24-year-old is carrying in his excellent form from last season and is emerging as one of League One's most exciting attackers, with Derby, Celtic, Wolves and Crystal Palace among those keen on the player.

Dembele has recorded five goals and recorded three assists in what has been an impressive start to the season for Darren Ferguson's Posh side.

So, what do you make of this news from the perspective of QPR? Would Dembele be a good addition to Mark Warburton's side?

The team here at FLW take a look....

This could be a smart bit of business.

Dembele has caught the eye with a number of impressive performances for Peterborough United in League One this season, and I'm not surprised to hear that he's attracting interest from other clubs heading towards the January transfer window.

QPR could certainly benefit from adding depth to their attacking options, and Demeble would certainly provide them with that this term.

It would be interesting to see whether he'd be a regular starter for Mark Warburton's side though, but I think he's more than capable of forcing his way into his plans with the Hoops.

They'll have to battle hard to land his signature though, as other clubs are also lurking ahead of the festive period.

This could prove to be one of the signings of the season in the Championship if he can hit the ground running.

George Dagless

Could well be.

QPR have some good players in the wide areas in the shape of Bright Osayi-Samuel and Albert Adomah but I'd argue there is room for Dembele to come into the squad and really challenge for a starting spot.

He's a player that has shone at League One level for some time and is probably due a move to the Championship.

If Peterborough do not get promoted this season their task becomes that much harder to keep him and QPR would certainly be doing well if they got him as several other sides are bound to be interested.

They've moved smartly in the transfer windows recently, though, so if they did sign him it'd probably be another bit of shrewd business.

Did these 17 QPR players ever actually score a league goal for the club? Have a go now!

Jake Sanders

This'd be a very much needed signing for QPR.

Mark Warburton's men are struggling in front of goal, and are lacking that maverick, following the departure of Ebere Ezere to Crystal Palace, whilst Bright Osayi-Samuel hasn't yet hit the heights of last season.

Dembele has been one of the standout attacking players in the League One for a number of seasons, consistently producing an impressive amount of goals and assists on a regular basis.

Whilst the Championship is obviously a massive step up in quality, I believe that Dembele has what it takes to be a success in the second-tier.
