Speculation linking Derby defender, Jayden Bogle with a move away from the club doesn’t seem like it will be cooling down anytime soon.

The Sun (2nd June, page 59) have recently reported that the right-back is a potential transfer target for Graham Potter’s Brighton side over the summer.

The report also claims that Brighton goalkeeper, Christian Walton could be heading to Derby as part of any deal between the two sides.

Bogle has been impressive in his breakthrough season with the Rams, and played a key role in helping Derby book their place in the Championship Play-Off Final at Wembley.

But Bogle and his team-mates suffered Play-Off pain as they were beaten 2-1 by Aston Villa which saw them miss out on a place in the Premier League next season.

Walton has been out on loan with Wigan Athletic for the last two seasons and he'll be hoping to have his long-term future resolved at the earliest of opportunities.

Would Derby be getting a good deal for Bogle if Walton was part of any deal though?

We discuss…

George Brooks:

"Bogle is a very promising player and I’m sure Derby will be desperate to keep hold of him.

"However, if they do lose him, getting Walton in exchange would be a smart move.

"Derby could be looking for a new goalkeeper with Roos out of contract and Scott Carson linked with a move away.

"Walton is a good goalkeeper and could be a decent signing for Derby, but they will hope it doesn’t come to that."

Toby Wilding:

"This'd be a smart move.

"With Kelle Roos out of contract, and the scrutiny on him following his play-off blunder - it feels as though Derby may want to consider a new choice between the sticks next season.

"However, Walton has had a less convincing season with Wigan this year, and wasn’t always first choice there, which may put Derby off this move slightly."

Gary Hutchinson:

"I can’t say I’m surprised they’re going all out to grab him.

"He’s a talent, he did well for Derby and he’s got a huge sell-on potential.

"As for throwing Walton in; Derby do need a keeper so it makes sense.

"I wouldn’t expect the fee to come down much though."
