Hull City's Kamil Grosicki is attracting interest from several Championship clubs, with Middlesbrough the latest to reportedly be interested according to the Daily Star.

Middlesbrough may be in need of another winger following reports that Marcus Tavernier could be on his way out, and Grosicki would be a very good replacement after he notched up 9 goals and 12 assists for The Tigers as they finished 13th.

The 30-year-old has contributed directly to 38 goals for Hull since joining in 2017, with some of those coming in the Premier League.

He could be a useful acquisition for Middlesbrough, both in getting them promoted and helping them to safety if the do go up. He is similar to the outgoing Downing and can replace his experience whilst adding more pace and creativity to a Middlesbrough attack that has been dull in recent years.

'Boro could face a challenge from Nottingham Forest for his signature, but it is likely Hull will let the Polish international  leave with his contract due to expire in 2020.

Here we have a look at whether he would be a good fit for Middlesbrough:

Toby Wilding
"I think this could be a good move for Middlesbrough.
"Jarrod Bowen rightly gets the headlines at Hull, but Grosicki's creativity and supply mean he too is a key player for The Tigers.
"That attacking threat would be a big boost for 'Boro, and you feel it would take them a step closer to a Premier League return."

Gary Hutchinson

“This'd be a really solid signing.

“He’s known in the Championship, has proven himself and is exciting on the ball.

“Having been linked with Dwight Gayle too, the future looks bright for Boro.

“After last season, they deserve some excitement and positivity."

George Brooks

"Grosicki would be a good signing for 'Boro.

"He's an exciting player and his stats for Hull last season were very impressive.

"Middlesbrough need some more creative and attacking players in their side and Grosicki is certainly one of those."
