Marcelo Bielsa said in the press conference on Monday that he will be interested in signing at least one player before the end of this month.

Although the transfer window has closed, clubs in the English Football League can still sign players on loan or free agents, and Bielsa could be in the market for new addition.

The Argentine could look to bolster his midfield, with Leeds reportedly being linked with a move for Everton midfielder Mo Besic on the transfer deadline day.

But with Besic most likely to join Middlesbrough, Leeds have seemingly turned their attention to signing Marko Grujic from Liverpool on loan.

Liverpool have bolstered their midfield this summer with the signings of Fabinho and Naby Keita and with Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Adam Lallana, already in the ranks, Liverpool boast a strong midfield set up, and Grujic will find it extremely difficult to get into this side.

So should Leeds make a move for Grujic? Would he be a good signing for Leeds?

We discuss.....

George Dagless

I think so.

Grujic is a top player just waiting for his career to kick on.

He did well for Cardiff last season and if he's not going to play for Liverpool this year he'd be a good signing for Leeds.

His bite in midfield would make him a hit with fans.

Jay Taylor

It would be a good signing.

Grujic had a solid season with Cardiff and helped them gain promotion to the Premier League.

If Bielsa wants a solid midfielder and someone to add power in the middle of the park, then Grujic would be the one for them.

More strength in depth will help them throughout the season when Bielsa’s tactics take their toll.

Alfie Burns

He’d be ideal for Leeds.

The Whites still look short of a central midfielder, and the Liverpool powerhouse would be the perfect addition to complement what they already have.

Grujic has great size and has experienced promotion from the Championship.

It’s the type of signing Leeds need to be looking to complete this month.

Gary Hutchinson

This'd be a great move by Bielsa.

Grujic is young and clearly incredibly talented, I think he’d fit in well with the current ethos running through Leeds United.

Their result last night showed sometimes they need to be resilient as well as playing great football and they passed that test too.

However, they need more depth and Grujic would be just the right sort of player.
