Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa will have his summer recruitment plans in full swing, as he looks to bring in the talent to make automatic promotion from the Championship, a realistic proposition next season.

One player that Bielsa has targeted is Liverpool winger Harry Wilson, as reported on Football Insider, who spent last season on loan at Derby County, but who could prove a difficult capture, with a host of clubs both at home and abroad keen on the 22-year-old on loan or on a permanent deal.

So would Wilson prove to be a good addition at Elland Road?

We discuss........

Kealan Hughes

“This'd be a fantastic signing.

“He was a real bright spark in the Derby side last season, scoring 18 goals and providing such a threat from set pieces.

“Wilson is ready for that next step which is the Premier League, so if Leeds manage to sign him it would be a real signal of intent.”

Gary Hutchinson

“This would be a great signing.

“It’s the sort of thing they wanted to see last summer, a young and vibrant star with energy and creativity.

“It was meant to be Jack Harrison, but of all the ‘bright young things’, he struggled.

“It would make a big statement too.”

Toby Wilding

"This would be an outstanding signing.

"There were times towards the end of last season when Leeds lacked the necessary spark to turn games in their favour, and Wilson showed last season that he has the ability to provide that spark, as he did for Derby on a number of occasions.

"If Leeds were to get Wilson, that may cause of good deal of frustration at Derby given the two side's rivalry last season, and tthat too would go down well at Elland Road."

George Brooks

"I think this would be a phenomenal signing for Leeds.

"Wilson is a fantastic player and was excellent for Derby last season.

"Marcelo Bielsa is looking to add more width and creativity to his side and Wilson would certainly be able to help provide that.

"If Leeds can somehow convince him to sign, it would be a huge statement to the rest of the Championship."
