Leeds United are among a number of clubs weighing up a swoop for Besiktas striker Alvaro Negredo as Marcelo Bielsa looks to bolster his front-line, reports Turkish-Football.

Would the former Man City striker be a good signing for Leeds? Would he fit in? Can you really see it happening?

We discuss....

Alfie Burns

This'd be a big statement from Bielsa.

Over the course of his career, Negredo has been an exceptional striker, who could add some quality and much-needed experience.

You’d imagine the player would jump at the chance to work for Bielsa, who could be a major factor in any deal.

If the deal looks like it will be good value, I can see Leeds making a serious move.

Jay Williams

What a statement signing this would be for Leeds!

Although Negredo might not be the same player he once was, he will still be a top player at Championship standard.

With his aerial presence and cracking left foot, the Spanish striker would surely get goals for Leeds.

Gary Hutchinson

Surprising signing certainly. This would be one of those 'out of the blue' deadline day moves that take everyone by surprise.

I could see him having a big impact in the Championship, but would he really be willing to drop down to the second tier?

George Dagless

Yeah, now it's Deadline Day.

If this happens I'd be tempted to buy the shirt and I'm not even a Leeds fan, it'd be some signing for sure.

Can I see it happening? It shouldn't but the way this window has gone you just can't rule it out...
