According to Calciomercato, Birmingham City are among a host of sides interested in signing Alexandre Pato on a free transfer.
Blues brought in Jonathan Leko and Scott Hogan in the summer, in an attempt to bolster their attacking reinforcements, but have only managed to score three goals in the Championship thus far this term.
The club can still sign free-agents despite the transfer window closing last week, with Pato now emerging as a target for Blues.

Seems highly unlikely and Calciomercato are notoriously unreliable – appreciate you're just relaying it. Would be an interesting signing but won't hold my breath.

As exciting/hilarious as it would be, I don’t think it actually solves much of a problem for the squad. Think we need more of an all rounder like Niasse or Sanogo
