Swansea City manager Graham Potter may not have long to sit back and reflect on his side's top-10 finish this season, with clubs already circling with a view to cherry-picking his prized assets during the summer transfer window.

Swans winger Dan James is as expected already in the spotlight, with Everton keen on making a move for the 21-year-old, as reported on Football Insider.

So, would James be a good fit at Goodison Park?

We discuss.........

Ben Lang

"This would be a great signing.

"James suits the exciting football that Silva is looking to play, and I think Everton would really benefit from young talent such as James.

"He might not make an immediate impact, but will be a fantastic addition once he adapts."

Gary Hutchinson

“This furore over Dan James mystifies me.

“He’s a good player with potential, but all these big links after a half-decent season, at best.

“I couldn’t see him playing regularly there and if I were an Everton fan, I’d want bolder signings.”

Toby Wilding

"This would be a good signing.

"James would an extra, incredibly potent, attacking threat to The Toffees line up. Everton have largely been reliant on Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson for that this season, and you feel James' pace, trickery and ability to finish chances would back them up brilliantly."

George Brooks

"This would be a good signing for Everton.

"James is an exciting young player and has been one of the standout performers for Swansea in the Championship this season.

"He clearly has a lot of potential and could have a big future ahead of him.

"Swansea may be forced to sell him now, rather than lose him on a free transfer, so this could work in Everton’s favour."
