Celtic midfielder Stuart Armstong could depart the SPFL champions this summer, as a host of clubs clamour for his signature.

Leeds United could be one club who take an interest in the 26-year-old star, as Marcelo Bielsa looks to lead a revolution at Elland Road.

Premier League clubs are circling Armstrong according to the Daily Record, but if Leeds came in for Armstrong, surely the lure of playing under a renowned boss like Bielsa and playing in front of the Elland Road faithful week in, week out is enticing.

Would Armstrong and Leeds be a good fit? Should Bielsa join the race to sign him?

We discuss....

George Dagless

Absolutely.

He's a good player with great ability to get on the ball and drive past players.

Leeds need to add quality this summer now and I think getting the Celtic man in would be a decent start.

Jay Williams

Armstrong would be a shrewd signing for any Championship club.

He is versatile and would suit Bielsa's fluid formation as he could slot into a number of positions.

And at the age of 26, he is now entering the prime of his career so this would be a great signing.

Chris Gallagher

Without a doubt.

The Celtic player is a class act and would suit a Bielsa team. He has good technique, great energy and scores goals from midfield.

He could play in the Premier League so this would be a big signing if Leeds could pull it off.

Alfie Burns

I rate Armstrong, but Leeds need to be targeting other areas first.

Strengthening Bielsa’s attacking options is a priority, whilst a centre-back and goalkeeper are also needed.

When those targets are captured, Leeds can turn their attention to the midfield and someone like Armstrong.
