In what has been 37 years since Blackburn last competed in England's third tier, Rovers boss Tony Mowbray has so far recruited very well bringing in the likes of Gillingham's Bradley Dack, and QPR's Ben Gladwin, however he may still have to make a few more additions if his side is to breeze back up to the Championship.

Last season, Blackburn found themselves too reliant on on-loan striker Sam Gallagher on their attacking front, and didn't have many other options apart from aging forward Danny Graham, which gives the indication the Rovers could use some more firepower to excel their squad to the next level.

West Brom's youngster Tyler Roberts, may not be the marquee signing Blackburn fans are looking for, but he would certainly do a fantastic job providing attacking support and adding to their squad depth for the upcoming campaign.

Roberts is a young and very hungry forward, with the determination and composure on the pitch to back it up.

Spending last season out on-loan at Oxford and Shrewsbury respectively, may not have worked out as well as West Brom would have expected, but placing him upfront in a strong squad such as Blackburn would surely do wonders for both parties.

With the likes of Dack, Gladwin and Peter Whittingham in the midfield, they would provide much needed support for the 18-year-old striker, who if given the ball in a close-range scoring position won't hesitate before sticking the ball into the back of the net.

Roberts has what it takes to eventually progress into their first team, and Ewood Park would be the ideal destination for him to spend another year out on-loan to develop as a forward, and gain a lot more confidence by scoring goals.
