Ipswich Town had another disappointing season and some of the performances were criticised as being very boring.

The Tractor Boys survived with relative ease but it was a dissatisfying season for the Ipswich Town faithful, who were starved of goals and attacking excitement.

Tom Lawrence was the shining light for Ipswich Town but he has returned to Leicester City after scoring a handful of fine goals from long range and lighting up the attacking midfield regions.

The Tractor Boys need to find a replacement for Tom Lawrence and sign someone who would add some much-needed flair to their forward play.

They could target West Bromwich Albion winger Jonathan Leko on a loan deal.

The 18-year-old can play out wide or up front and rose to prominence when he made his Premier League debut at the age of just 16.

Since then, Tony Pulis has used Leko sparingly and mainly as a substitute.

The England under-18 international could really benefit from a loan spell away from the Hawthorns so that he can learn and develop his game in a competitive environment.

The Championship could be Leko's next destination and Ipswich Town fits the bill as they are a club crying out for someone with the talented teenager's skill, pace and flair.

Jonathan Leko has certainly shown glimpses of his immense potential during his few Premier League outings and now he needs to be given a chance to regularly start games.

Ipswich Town are on a low budget and need players like this so it seems a no-brainer for them to pursue a loan deal for Leko.
