West Bromwich Albion are looking strong contenders for promotion after a thumping victory against Queens Park Rangers.

The Baggies hit seven goals past QPR at The Hawthorns to pick up their second win of the campaign and move up to third place in the league table.

Things are now starting to gel under Darren Moore and the players seem to be behind his project.

But there is one more position which needs sorting before the loan window closes at the end of August.

Especially after getting rid of Allan Nyom, West Brom must step up their hunt for a right-back on loan because they are currently playing with Tosin Adarabioyo in that position, despite him naturally preferring a central defensive role.

Moore will be scouring the market for any right-backs who may be out of favour with the Premier League clubs and hoping to sign one of them on loan.

Tottenham Hotspur's young right-back Kyle Walker-Peters would be worth a shot.

The 21-year-old would benefit from a season out on loan, rather than remaining as third choice behind Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier at White Hart Lane.

Walker-Peters is highly rated by Spurs but has only played nine senior games for the North London side, so a spell on loan in the Championship could help his case for competing for the first-team.

West Brom would be the perfect environment for him to thrive as they will spend a lot of time attacking this season.

The England under-21 international can link up with the likes of Matty Phillips, Harvey Barnes and Ollie Burke in the wide areas and provide service to Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle up front.

Walker-Peters will also be tested defensively by Championship wingers and this will be a great learning curve in the next step of his career.

Not only will this benefit all parties, but Walker-Peters would be the final piece of the jigsaw as West Brom push for promotion.
