It is safe to say that Leeds United’s recent slump in form is turning into a little bit of a crisis, with Thomas Christiansen’s side suffering six defeats in their last seven across all competitions and winning just twice in eight Sky Bet Championship fixtures.  

The most recent of those defeats came against Derby County last night at Elland Road, which left Leeds in sixth, knowing they will drop out of the top-six this evening following Aston Villa’s clash with Preston North End. Pierre-Michel Lasogga had given the Whites the lead last night, but Sam Winnall’s brace late in the second-half turned things around, handing Derby a 2-1 victory and a vital three points.

Lasogga was one of a number of Leeds’ players to take to social media following the defeat to Derby, with the 25-year-old highlighting his disappointment, before looking ahead to Saturday, when Leeds are once again in Championship action, against Brentford.
