Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leo Bonatini has been in excellent form, and Stat Attack have revealed on Twitter that the Brazilian striker has been involved in more Championship goals since October than any other player in the division.

The 23-year-old Al-Hilal loanee is in the midst of a wonderful run, and has been involved in no less than six league goals, a spell which has helped his side rise to the summit of the second tier table.

Bonatini has fast become one of the deadliest strikers at this level, with the player leading the goalscoring charts with an impressive ten strikes in only sixteen appearances, with this spell also seeing the forward lay on a further four goals for his team mates.

The stats will delight all associated with the club, and there will be calls to make his loan switch permanent when the winter transfer window opens for business in January.

The Verdict

What a piece of business this has turned out to be for Wolves.

Bonatini has been nothing short of sensational, and his form is arguably the primary factor that has seen the club rise to their lofty position.

Many had questioned Wolves’ attacking potency when boss Nuno Santo allowed Nouha Dicko to leave for Hull in the closing hours of the summer transfer window, with Bonatini the only recognised senior striker on the books of the club.

Yet the Brazilian has taken the league by the scruff of the neck, and a continuation of his current form will surely be enough to see the Black Country outfit return to the Premier League once again.
