Many Birmingham City fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that the club will face Coventry City in the fourth round of the FA Cup after the League One outfit sealed their progress in the competition.
The Sky Blues secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Bristol Rovers last night to set up a clash with the Blues.
With Coventry currently ground-sharing with Birmingham after failing to reach an agreement with Wasps to stay at the Ricoh Arena last year, Pep Clotet’s side will be the away team at St Andrew’s.
Having failed to make it past the fourth round of the competition in each of the last seven seasons, the Blues will be determined to avoid an upset against the Sky Blues when the two sides meet on January 25th.
Currently 18th in the Championship standings, an FA Cup run could provide Birmingham with the momentum needed to push on over the coming months.
