With Leeds United riding high in the Championship after an unbeaten start to the season, midfielder Mateusz Klich has shone as the playmaker pulling the strings in the centre of the park for Marcelo Bielsa's side.

The 28-year-old's exploits have not gone unnoticed, with Leeds confirming that he has earned a recall to the Polish national side for the first time in four years, for the Nations Cup match versus Italy in September.

Is it right that Klich got the call?

We discuss.....

Gary Hutchinson

On current form, absolutely.

He’s started the season incredibly well and has earned his reprieve at Elland Road.

I’m not completely up to speed on the Polish national side and player available, but I do know that the Championship is as good as all but perhaps four leagues in Europe.

He’s performing well in a massive division and deserves to be recognised for that.

George Dagless

Yes, this really is deserved.

It's been a while but he's been a revelation this season and testament to Bielsa's work so far.

He's clearly a good player and will be eager to kick on with this latest achievement in mind.

Jay Taylor

Just rewards for his excellent form.

Klich is one of the main reasons why Leeds are where they are in the league at this period in time,

His barnstorming performances in the Whites’ opening five games have been outstanding and have been noticed by his national side.

It’s the right call bringing him into the international fold after his sensational start of the season.
