Sheffield United continue to fly high in the Sky Bet Championship, and despite an entertaining loss against Fulham in mid-week, the Blades remain in good spirits ahead of today's game with Birmingham City.

Manager Chris Wilder is doing quite the job at Bramall Lane as he looks to secure back to back promotions and fulfil his dream of leading his team out in the Premier League, and the way things are going, he might well just achieve it.

However, there remains a few questions about the Blades' squad and if they can continue to compete beyond January. The club have already lost influential midfielder Paul Coutts to injury, and the loss of other big hitters could prove fatal if luck goes against them.

January represents a chance to bring in fresh blood though, and one player we think could do the business at Bramall Lane is Liverpool and England youngster Dominic Solanke.

Despite making his England debut two weeks ago, the former Chelsea man has struggled for minutes under Jurgen Klopp so far, and must surely look at his fellow young striker Tammy Abraham's spell in the Championship last season with adoring eyes.

Playing for Sheffield United, who themselves play expansive, attacking football, could give Solanke the game time he needs to develop further, and he would more or less guarantee the goals for the Blades in the Championship.

A move which would have been almost impossible six months ago, Solanke signing for the Blades could well be the perfect sort of January signing to push United into the Premier League.

Blades fans, what do you think? Impressive signing if it can happen? Let us know!
