Millwall will no doubt be looking to build on their morale-boosting victory over Leeds United last weekend by going on something of a winning run in their coming run of fixtures against the likes of Cardiff and Stoke City respectively.

With Jed Wallace and Tom Bradshaw both netting for the Lions, the victory over the high-flying Whites couldn't have come at a better time with the club still reeling from the resignation of legendary manager Neil Harris.

With further tough games to come against Brentford and Cardiff, this result will no doubt be a brilliant scalp for the club.

Here, we discuss if Millwall can now kick on after this victory in our latest FLW Six Pointer article...

First of all, how would you say the club has reacted to the departure of Harris?

"I would say they have coped really well, considering his departure was largely unexpected by many at the club, picking up this result over Leeds will no doubt give a boost to everyone in Bermondsey.

"Experienced players in particular are mainly used to managers departing, so it is hardly surprising that the Millwall players put in such a spirited performance , particularly with their being a high amount of seasoned pros in the dressing room.

"It was a very professional performance all round, despite there being an element of luck with the questionable penalty award in their favour!"

Do you think Millwall can build on this win?

"It remains to be seen to be honest, particularly with the international break now being upon us, this is a period in which we could see a new man take on the managerial role.

"I would just say that it will be business as usual for the players, they are smart enough to know that how they perform in this period of uncertainty could be detrimental towards their chances of securing a regular starting spot under the new boss.

"With a tough looking run of games coming up for the Lions, it could be a make or break month for how their season takes shape."

Which player has impressed you most this term?

"I have been very impressed with Jed Wallace, he is a bit of a late bloomer, particularly with him having to recover from his largely unsuccessful time at Wolves, however I think he is really hitting the ground running at Millwall this season.

"He provides goals from midfield, which have been largely found lacking for the Lions since Tim Cahill's departure back in the early 2000s.

"I believe he could be a big key to the club staying up this season, particularly with the club lacking any real goalscorer in the team."

Who do you expect to come in as manager?

"It's a tricky one to be honest, I think it may be too tough a job for a rookie boss like Tim Cahill to be tasked with, particularly with the club having struggled so far this season.

"Whoever comes through the door at the New Den will have to possess great patience, especially as there is a long period of time between now and the January transfer window, they will have to be able to get the best out of what they currently have in terms of personnel.

"I think the club would be wise to go for an experienced head to weather the storm for the rest of this season, before then looking at a more long-term option during the summer."

How do you foresee Millwall faring in their next few games?

"I think realistically speaking, they need to look at getting some points from the games against both of their home games against Cardiff and Stoke, particularly with both sides struggling away from home this season.

"Brentford should represent their toughest test this month, with many a team coming away from Griffin Park empty-handed.

"This month will definitely be a crucial one, with the league table starting to take shape, Millwall will be keen to start increasing their total and push up the league."

And lastly, do you think Millwall will stay up this season?

"I think it all depends on who comes through the door as manager in the coming weeks, the new man will be inheriting a squad which has shown good togetherness over the past couple of seasons, which may enhance their chances of staving off relegation.

"The next few months will be vital towards establishing some kind of foothold against their rivals who will also be fighting it out in the lower reaches of the Championship this season."
