Following the end of what was a rollercoaster season at Hillsborough, plenty of Sheffield Wednesday fans will be urging the club to keep hold of Keiren Westwood this summer.

The 34-year-old endured a pretty wild season last time out, after being completely frozen out by former boss Jos Luhukay in the first half of the campaign.

The experienced shot-stopper didn't make a single appearance for the Owls in over a year under Luhukay, after falling behind Cameron Dawson and Joe Wildsmith in the pecking order.

But things quickly changed when Steve Bruce took over from the Dutchman - the former Aston Villa boss quickly reintroduced Westwood to the first-team, and he then went on to keep 11 clean sheets in 21 appearances in the second half of the campaign.

Westwood's current deal with the club is set to expire at the end of the month, and the latest is that Wednesday are close to agreeing a new deal with the shot-stopper, though that is yet to be confirmed.

But the goalkeeper has now added more fuel to the fire, revealing in a video on his Twitter page that his young child now plays for the Owls' under-6 side, hinting at a possible long-term stay for Westwood.

Here, we take a look at Wednesday fans' reactions to this tweet...
