Bristol City can expect a tough encounter when they entertain the early pace setters Middlesbrough this weekend.

Who do our pundits think will take the points?

We discuss

Alfie Burns

Tony Pulis’ side haven’t been brilliant, but they already have seven points on the board and look difficult to beat.

Going away from home will be tough, with Lee Johnson’s side still reasonably strong.

However, an away victory is the way to go here, 1-3.

Gary Hutchinson

1-1: I can never see Bristol City getting beat, even with the mass exodus and rebuilding, they’re such a good side.

Boro will be right up there this season too and they’ll see a draw as a decent result away at a promotion candidate from last time out.

Mo Eisa, if he starts, could spring a surprise because he’ll test Aden Flint to the max.

Jay Taylor

This match will be tight.

Bristol City are looking for their first win of the season after two successive draws in the league, and a Carabao Cup defeat to their name,

Middlesbrough, on the other hand, drew their opening before two successive wins lifted them to the top of the league.

The Robins are generally strong at home and have won their last three meetings with Boro.

On current form, however, a draw looks the best bet, I’m going for 1-1.

George Dagless

Boro are top of the league and look good whilst it's hard to know what you're going to get with the Robins.

They could batter anyone but equally they can lose to anyone - a proper second tier team.

I think this is a draw. 2-2.

Chris Gallagher

1 - 1: This should be a very tight game at Ashton Gate. Boro have started the season well but they have picked up their majority of their points at home and struggled at Millwall.

Meanwhile, the Robins aren't the same side as last season but will be competitive on their own patch.
