Norwich City today confirmed the season-long loan signing of Jordan Rhodes from Sheffield Wednesday in a move that hasn’t gone down well in East Anglia.

That’s because Rhodes used to play for the Canaries’ bitter rivals Ipswich, coming through the ranks at Portman Road before he was controversially sold by then manager Roy Keane.

Nevertheless, the 28-year old striker still had strong feelings for the club, declaring back in 2013 that; “I’m still an Ipswich fan, I’m one of them.”
