Norwich City today confirmed the season-long loan signing of Jordan Rhodes from Sheffield Wednesday in a move that hasn't gone down well in East Anglia.

That's because Rhodes used to play for the Canaries' bitter rivals Ipswich, coming through the ranks at Portman Road before he was controversially sold by then manager Roy Keane.

Nevertheless, the 28-year old striker still had strong feelings for the club, declaring back in 2013 that; "I’m still an Ipswich fan, I’m one of them."

Yet, he today ensured he will get a frosty reception the next time he faces his old club after joining Daniel Farke's men on loan for the next campaign.

The striker struggled to make an impact at Wednesday in the past 18 months since joining from Middlesbrough and will hope to rediscover his goalscoring form at Carrow Road.

However, Ipswich fans certainly don't feel the same and here's how some of them reacted to his move on twitter this afternoon...
