Leeds United got themselves a positive result at the weekend as they beat Barnsley in the latest Yorkshire Derby to take place in the Championship.

The men from Elland Road have had an up and down campaign this season but things in recent games have looked better - despite their loss against Wolves last week.

Indeed, there's more positive signs than there has been recently for the Whites and now the club needs to kick on over Christmas and into the January transfer window.

And, with the January window in mind, we think the door is open for Leeds to make a move for Marko Grujic.

One thing the Whites need more than most in their line-up at the moment is a bit more bite and physicality and we think the young Serbian would add plenty of that.

Indeed, he seems as though he'll be available in January with his agent revealing to Blic in Serbia that he wants his client to get on a loan deal somewhere - but it has to be in England.

That would make sense, of course, with the plan still being that Grujic makes it into the Liverpool team but he needs more experience of first-team English football before he can do that.

He'd surely get more of that at Leeds, too, with him possessing all the tools of a good, box-to-box player with plenty to prove.

He can be rash at times, but he is committed to the cause, and such an introduction would fire Leeds up.
