West Brom fans will be nervously waiting for news as to whether star midfielder, loanee Harvey Barnes is set for a recall to parent club Leicester City following suggestions made by Foxes manager Claude Puel in The Express & Star.

West Brom had a decent festive period securing seven points from a possible 12, that leaves them in fourth place in the Championship, five points off leaders Leeds United.

So how big a blow would the loss of Barnes be to the Baggies?

We discuss.....

George Dagless

Very significant.

The Baggies are good enough to get by without him but he will still be a miss if he does leave.

If Leicester take him back, I really hope he gets to play for his sake.

Gary Hutchinson

Massive.

Barnes has been one of their shining lights and to see him go will be a big loss.

They’ll need to replace that creativity, but it won’t be easy.

Barnes is one of the country’s most exciting talents.

Sam Rourke

This is worrying.

Barnes has been a shining light for the Baggies this season, and it'd be catastrophic if they lost him this month.

His dynamism, creativity and goalscoring prowess make him such an influential figure in Darren Moore's team.

Ultimately, it's no surprise that the Foxes are weighing up recalling him.
