19-year old attacking midfielder Callum O'Hare was yesterday called up to the England U20 side, much to the delight of Villa fans.

O'Hare joined Villa as a seven year old and has progressed through the ranks during his tenure there. He signed his first deal in 2015, but was recently rewarded with an improved deal which reflects his immense potential.

He's been around the first team, notably in the squad last season for matches against Huddersfield and Brighton, making his debut this season in the EFL Cup away at Colchester. He made his league debut three days later as a 58th minute sub in the league defeat against Cardiff City.

He's now made four appearances in the league, all from the bench, as well as three starts in the EFL Cup and one in the FA Cup, which Villa lost to League One Peterborough.

He's now been called up to the England U20 squad to face Poland and Portugal, taking his place alongside team mates Easah Suliman and Keinan Davis, as well as Benfica striker Chris Willock.

Villa fans were quick to praise their young talent, taking to Twitter to congratulate him on his call up.
