Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's QPR have endured a steady start to the 2016/17 Championship campaign, picking up 16 points from 12 games and sit 14th in the table.

The London club will undoubtedly want to improve on last year's mediocre mid-table position, and form a promotion push to lift them back into the top tier.

On Saturday afternoon, they face a Reading side who aren't short in confidence, and sit 8th in the Championship table; it won't be an easy game for the R's by any means.

But here at Football League World, we're taking a break from regular 11-a-side football on a Saturday afternoon, and taking a stance on 5-a-side football, and which clubs would suit a match down the local park.

So, with that being said, here, FLW writer George Harbey names his ultimate QPR 5-a-side team...

GK: Alex Smithies

Quite an obvious choice between the sticks, the 6 ft 3 keeper is a tremendous shot stopper, and even better penalty saver, as demonstrated in his antics in the 2011/12 play-off final with Huddersfield, in the penalty shootout.

CB: Nedum Onuoha

At the heart of the defence is the club captain who has made a total of 136 appearances for the R's, seeing them promoted to the top flight, and then relegated to the second tier.

The no-nonsense defender wouldn't let anything get past him in 5-a-side.

CDM: Jordan Cousins

The tenacious holding midfielder, who joined from Charlton Athletic in the summer, has been influential for the R's ever since his arrival, and has made an impressive 133 career appearances at the age of 23 years old.

CAM: Tjaronn Chery

The Dutchman has been nothing but influential for Hasselbaink's men since his arrival from FC Groningen in the summer of 2015.

The 28- year-old has netted 15 times in 45 games for the R's, whilst also assisting 9 times too.

ST: Sebastian Polter

The 25- year-old, 6 foot 3 frontman may not have the best goalscoring record at Loftus Road, with 9 goals in 40 games, however is certainly a handful up top.

So...What do you think QPR fans? Would you agree with this 5-a-side team? Who else would you pick? Where will QPR finish this year? Leave your suggestions and thoughts in the comments below!
